There is a hidden rule that you should not leave office before your boss, and no one can really leave office at 18.00. You can leave at 20.00 in your lucky days .
Scandinavia is another extreme, most people here leave office at 16.00ish . It sounds VERY WRONG for me in the beginning, I was always the last one to go (though I left at 18.00). Now I am used to this amazing work life balance . It is impossible to work anywhere else.
