In many countries, there is always a main guardian to take care of kids after divorce. The other parent has only the right to visit. However in Scandinavia, where the divorcing rate is very high, separated couples share the upbringing responsibilities. Some couples divide it by 50-50, it means the mum and the dad has equal responsibility, they take turn to take care of their kids. Some go for 70-30 or 80-20, the sides have smaller proportion take 1-2 days per week.
